How does Leto work?
You connect your email and Leto does the rest. It automatically identifies school-related senders, extracts tasks, events, and deadlines from their emails, and adds them to whatever calendar app your family already uses. You don’t need to sort, forward, or manually enter anything.
Is Leto free?
Yes. Leto is free for every family—every feature, no credit card. If your PTA or school partners with Leto, your organization’s emails arrive automatically with nothing to set up. You can also connect your own email, and Leto will handle mail from any sender you choose.
Does Leto process my emails?
When you connect your email, we first look back 90 days to find the schools and organizations that write to you. We process who sent your messages, with their subjects and dates, and the text of your most recent messages, using only the beginning of it, from every sender. We skip sent mail, drafts, spam, and trash. Your children's first names, grade levels, and schools help us recognize their schools. You then choose which organizations Leto tracks, and from then on Leto turns their emails into tasks and events. We never store your full emails, we never show ads, and we never sell your data.
